08:00–09:00 am: You will be picked up by our knowledgeable guide and driver from Chan May Port, where your journey to Hue City, the former capital of Vietnam, will commence.
Visit the Imperial Hue Citadel to start your historic city tour. Work on the fortress started in 1805, under the Nguyen Dynasty. The Forbidden Purple City, inner and outer courts, temples of worship, and the entire 2 square kilometer Imperial City are all part of this complex that is encircled by four walls and a moat.
Next, proceed to Hue's oldest pagoda, the Thien Mu Pagoda (Pagoda of the Celestial Lady), which was constructed in 1601. The unofficial icon of Hue City, the Thien Mu Pagoda, is situated on the northern bank of the Perfume River, about 3 kilometers from the Citadel. Surrounded by beautiful flowers and attractive plants, this somber and important piece of Hue history is breathtaking.
Enjoy a breather with a lunch of regional cuisine at Hue's well-known Restaurant, which serves some of Vietnam's most distinctive delicacies.
Visit the Khai Dinh Tomb after your delectable meal. It is thought to have the most magnificent and distinctive architecture created during the Nguyen Dynasty. The Khai Dinh Tomb is a magnificent example of man-made and natural beauty. It has palaces, temples, and a royal theater.
After finishing the Chan May Port Day Tour, return to the port one hour before to the afternoon departure of your cruise, which is usually at 4:00 p.m.
