In the morning: You will have breakfast at the hotel and then begin a tour of Hoi An Ancient Town, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both
indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. It is famous for Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda and the bustling market. Hoi An is a town oozing charm and history, having largely escaped the destruction of successive wars. The architecture of Hoi An, which is almost entirely of wood, is of considerable interest. Once a sleepy riverside village, it’s now quite definitely a tourist town – with hotels, restaurants, bars, tailors and souvenir shops dominating the old centre.
In the afternoon: After lunch at a local restaurant, we will explore the Hoi An Countryside by sampan including the Thanh Ha Earthenware Village.
In the evening: You will stay the night at your chosen hotel in Hoi An Ancient Town.
