The historic relics from the Vietnamese wars
As visitors step through the main hall, they are greeted by the display of the "Silver Swallow" MiG-21, serial number 4324. What strikes and surprises visitors is the sight of this massive MiG-21 suspended from cables attached to the ceiling, creating the illusion of the aircraft ready to take off and protect the skies of the nation. During the resistance war against the United States, a total of nine pilots flew the "Silver Swallow" 4324, which flew 69 missions, encountered enemy aircraft 22 times, fired 16 times, and shot down 14 American planes.
On the body of the MiG-21 are 14 red stars, symbolizing the 14 enemy aircraft it brought down. This aircraft was officially recognized as a National Treasure by the Prime Minister of Vietnam on January 14, 2015.

The museum utilizes advanced projection technology, along with films, maps, models, and dioramas to illustrate key battles and military campaigns, such as the Dien Bien Phu Campaign (1954) and the Ho Chi Minh Campaign (1975).
During the resistance against American imperialism, the T-54B tank, belonging to Company 4, Battalion 1, 203rd Armored Brigade, 2nd Corps, played a significant role in the liberation of Hue and Da Nang. The tank continued to participate in the final phase of the war, contributing to the victory of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.
