Day 1: Travel from Hanoi City to Lao Cai
You will be picked up at the airport and transfer to Hanoi Capital by our professional driver from Vietnam Travel Group. We would like to show you the major cultural sites around Hanoi city if time permits. We shall go to 1000 years old Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature & the first university in Vietnam). Next visits are Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple.

Next, we will take a cyclo trip around the Old Quarter from Hang Dau to Hang Gai Streets. In the evening, enjoy your dinner at a restaurant and then you are transferred to the train station for departure to Sapa on the night train. Spend a night in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin. (4 pax/cabin)
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van
In the morning, in Lao Cai Train Station at 06.00 AM, you will be picked up and transferred to Sapa. You enjoy breakfast and leave the hotel to start trekking downhill to Y Linh Ho and Muong Hoa Valleys.
Here you shall stroll through rice paddies and small hamlets, learn the life of the hill tribes here and talk with local people in Lao Chai Village. Continue walking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van Village, settled by the Dzay ethnic people.

In the afternoon, you have picnic lunch on the way then keep walking to the bottom of Sapa Valley - the most beautiful place in the area. Return to Sapa for dinner with traditional Vietnamese Food. In the evening, stay a night at your hotel in Sapa.
Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat – Ta Phin – Hanoi City
In the morning, after breakfast, you and the crew shall trek down to Cat Cat Village, home of the Black H'Mong Tribe. This is the old village of ethnic groups, attracting tourists from all over the world for its distinctive customs and practices. Enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat Village and the beautiful scenery along the way. After the visit, take a jeep back to Sapa and check out of the hotel.

In the afternoon, you have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, take a car to Ta Phin Village to visit the home of the Red Dao people. Walk around the village to explore the customs, daily life and weaving techniques of the Red Dao people.
In the evening, after dinner, transferred to Lao Cai for an overnight train back to Hanoi. Spend a night in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin. (4 pax / cabin)
Day 4: Hanoi City – Ha Long City
In the morning, when you arrive in Hanoi at 05.30 AM, you will be picked up at the train station and be transferred to a local restaurant for breakfast then leave for Ha Long through the Red River Delta. Ha Long Bay is listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Ha Long Bay has more than 1.000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes.
Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina. Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join in for welcome cocktail as we tell you about life onboard. Check into your cabin.

Then, it’s time to refresh and unwind. You set sail as lunch is prepared by our chef. Join us for a relaxing lunch in the restaurant or on the outdoor dining area, enjoy the stunning views of the Bay, it's dramatic limestone islands as we sail through the calm waters.
In the early evening, you shall take an opportunity to refresh and then join friends for a pre-dinner drink in the bar. Dinner is served in the restaurant.
Day 5: Ha Long City – Hanoi City
In the morning, you wake up to watch a brilliant sunrise over the bay, then join us for a Tai Chi session on the sun deck. Tai chi helps focus the mind and condition the body and there is no better environment to practice this than amongst the limestone peaks and islands.
After breakfast, we sail through the waters and pass by a number of caves and we drop anchor at Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave. Disembark and visit Surprise Cave located on Bo Hon Island. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

At around 09.30 AM, we board the cruise again. You take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in the luggage store. You will join our short class of Cooking demonstration, how to make spring rolls before an early lunch is served.
At noon, return to the shore and disembark from the cruise as our crew says farewell. Transfer to minibus or private and return to Hanoi. Transferred to your hotel approximately 17.00 PM.
Day 6: Hanoi City – the end of the amazing 6 days tour
You are free to explore the capital by yourself or simply just relax at the hotel until the pickup time for your transfer to the airport. That’s the end of the tour.
